Conference Scholarship

The scholarship deadline is Friday, May 15th

There are a limited number of partial scholarships available. Those receiving scholarships will have their conference registration fee waived.

Scholarships will be awarded to individuals in financial need who can make an important contribution by attending the conference. That contribution may be to the conference community or your home community. Preference is given to members of the Society and people presenting during the conference, either during the regular sessions, at the System Dynamics Colloquium or for special pre- or post-conference activities. In addition to financial need, scholarships are awarded based on the evaluation of written work. You are encouraged to submit a paper to the main conference or the System Dynamics Colloquium.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please go to the conference Submission System to provide us with a short paragraph (Personal Statement) describing why you need the support, and what you think is special about the contribution you will make to the conference, or take home from the conference to your community. The Personal Statement should be submitted in your submission form before the deadline. If you have already submitted your paper, you can add your statement by clicking on the "Edit Paper" in your submission home. If co-authors also want to apply for the scholarship, please include their names and statements in a separate paragraph on the shared submission. In reviewing scholarship applications we will have access to the paper or papers you have submitted, so you do not need to repeat that content.

The Scholarship Application area is located in the "Program Submissions" area of the Submission System.

Scholarship applications are due in mid May (final date to be determined). If you are awarded a scholarship you will be contacted soon after the notifications of paper acceptances have been sent
